Dialogue Meeting between Norway and Pakistan

We have organized bridge building event between Norway and Pakistan, where we invited the Pakistani culture minister Muhammad Ali Durrani to Oslo (4 day visit) where he had meetings with Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, Culture Valgerd Svarstad Hugland, Foreign Minister Jan Petersen, Minister of Finance per-Kristian Foss, President of the Storting Kosmo and the Mayor of Oslo, per Ditlev-Simonsen. Topics that were discussed included, combating forced marriages, education and minority women's role in Norwegian society ets. It was held an open meeting between the Pakistani Kulturministerer Muhammad Ali Durrani and all Norwegian-Pakistanis living in Norway with cultural performances from both local artists from Oslo and Pakistan. International famous pop star from Pakistan Abrar-Ul-Haq attended.
